1/12/18 Tuesday was the Transition team’s first game of the new year. It was a hard fought loss against SEASPAR’s gray team. On Thursday, we played one of D99’s basketball teams. It was an exciting win with all athletes getting a chance to score!
12/15/17 This past Tuesday the SO Transition team played Gateway’s Blue team. It was by far our best game of the season! While we lost 20-26, everyone was in the game and tried to help the team score. On Thursday we also cheered on the South Wrestling team as they took on Willowbrook High School. Go Hornets and go Hawks!
12/1/17 For the last week of November, the Special Olympics Transition team had one game against NEDSRA. While the team lost 37-18, each player got a chance to play and many scored a basket! Next week we look forward to playing WDSRA on Tuesday at WDSRA.
11/17/17 This week the Special Olympics Transition team played its first 2 games of the season! On Tuesday we played LT’s Blue team and lost 22-38. We tried hard and were learning how to work as a team. On Thursday we played D99’s Team 2 and lost 7-50. While it wasn’t the outcome we were hoping for, no one gave up on the court!
