JV1 Hinsdale South went on to begin their 2022 campaign with a home match against Naperville Central on Monday. Unfortunately missing a number of girls that day, the Hornets would go on to fall in this match-up against a strong Naperville Central team after playing two rounds of all doubles action. After the match, the Hornets would go back to practicing and conditioning hard over the rest of the week in preparation of their first quad of the season.
Hosted by Lake Park, the Hornets would make the trip up to their courts to play in round robin action against Benet, Lockport, and Lake Park themselves. For this event, the Hornets JV1 and JV2 teams would come together to face off with the other three teams on that early Saturday morning. Unfortunately, the girls would go on to lose with a score of 0-5 against all three schools, leaving the event with elements to work on in the coming week in preparation of their next match.
JV2 JV 2 started strong with try outs lasting 3 days. All girls made the team and worked hard to build their skills. We spent the first two weeks practicing and getting ready for game play.
