Week of August 31st
Just one contest this week: Stagg High School. After a narrow margin defeat, the girls (and coaches) were ecstatic. Stagg has a tradition of having some very strong swimmers. The key factor in a win for Hinsdale South this week was our 2nd and 3rd swimmers in each event. Despite having approximately 10 less swimmers per level than Stagg, we out swam them with the support of our 2 and 3 swimmers, resulting in W’s on both levels. Go Hornets!! The team worked extremely hard the rest of the week and those that were able to join in enjoyed a team breakfast on Saturday (thanks Blueberry Hill). Looking forward to swimming at Lockport this week; it will be a tough test for the Lady Hornets!
