Week of August 18th
August 20th we hosted conference member Glenbard West for our first match of the season. Varsity and JV competed hard and had mixed results. Varsity won 197-203 and JV lost 245-225.
August 23rd the Varsity competed in the Willowbrook Rachel Gibson Invite. The Hornets started strong by shooting a very solid 29 (+1) in the scramble portion of the event. Ultimately the team had a strong showing and finished in 2nd place out of the 9 teams competing. Sophia Chen earned the medal for the lowest score in the tournament shooting a 28 (-2). Week of August 11th
Thursday, August 14th the Hinsdale South Girls Golf team kicked off its season by competing in the Conant High School Early Bird Invite at Fox Run Golf Course. The Hornet Golfers finished in 3rd place as a team out of 9 teams. The Hornets were led by Junior Sophia Chen and Seniors Alex Kuhlman and Lilly Davy. Sophia Chen placed 5th as an individual.
