2025 Boys' Cross Country Weekly Highlights
IHSA Sectional Meet; 11/1/25; Fenton HS, 3 miles; 50 degrees, breezy, sunny
3rd place with 86 points–on to State!!!! Some fun facts:
● First team qualifying since 2018
● Lowest point total for team since 2015
● Wojtek 1st All-Sectional Medalist since Julian Watson 2020
● Santi (20th), Eli (27th), and John (55th) highest placing 4th, 5th, and 7th runners
at Sectionals in my Hinsdale South coaching tenure–possibly ever. And all freshmen!!

Regional Champs!! 24 points is lowest Regional point total in team history and 1st Regional title since 2018. Congrats to Wojtek on championship, 1st HS individual champ since Julian Watson in 2020, and to top-5 medalists Mesfin, Javi, and Santi!! Onto Sectionals!
Plainfield Fast Cat Invite 10/21/25; Plainfield Cen. HS; 47 degrees, very windy, some rain
Our freshmen placed 3rd in a field of 19, with Mesfin winning the individual championship, and Santi, Eli, and John earning the coveted stocking caps given to 25 finishers at this meet.
