We had a GREAT trip to Peoria with the top 7(+1) this weekend. The 7 runners ran 6 personal bests, and the one runner who narrowly missed had a huge season and course best. We placed 12th out of 43 in a field that had 18 ranked teams (13 2A and 5 Class 1A), beating many of them! Julian, Nick, Tim, and Max all broke into our all-time course top 50 list for the team, Julian and Tim improving their spot on the list, Nick re-entering after 2 weeks off the list, and Max making his debut. Perhaps the best part of the trip was when the lady at the hotel asked if we were staying there for State because they were so well-behaved!
