Week of May 19th All we do is win, win, win, no matter what. After heading to DePaul College Prep on Monday to take on what would be our biggest sectional rival, the Hornets took home the sectional championship for the 3rd year in a row after some great play on Friday and Saturday. Week of May 12th
This was a bit of an up and down week for the Hornets... or perhaps down and up. After falling to Latin and Wauconda early in the week, the Hornets found themselves in the finals at every position in the conference tournament. After sweeping singles behind the play of Bisharat, Desai, and Bansal, Eamon Bargher and Isaac Choi came through in the clutch at the third doubles position to secure a conference title for the first time in six seasons. Woo!!!!!
Week of May 5th
Another busy week for the Hornets! This week the Hornets took on Proviso East and Willowbrook in conference play. After defeating Proviso East 7-0, the Hornets secured a 6-1 win over the incredibly tough Willowbrook. This win puts them in a great position heading into the conference tournament as they look to take on DGS. Of note was the stellar play of Abe Al-ani, who locked down the 1st doubles position versus Willowbrook. Over the weekend, the Hornets played in the two day Benet hosted Naper Valley Invite. Here, senior phenom Zeke Bisharat played against some of the top singles players in the state, and finished in 3rd out of 16.

Week of April 21st
On Monday of this week the Hornets traveled up to U High Lab, where they went to work against the top 1A school in the state. Despite some tight matches, the Hornets were a bit outmatched. This experience against some top competition paid dividends later in the week as the Hornets resumed conference match play, defeating both Addison Trail and Morton 7-0.
Week of April 14th This week the Hornets took on conference rival DGS. Without two-time state qualifier Rohan Bansal in the lineup, the Hornets fought hard, but dropped a close one, falling 3-4. Stepping up into the varsity lineup and earning a win at the 4th doubles position alongside partner Yacine Ouchen, was JV player Crue Robards. The next day the Hornets traveled up to Prairie Ridge where Zeke Bisharat took down one of the top singles players in the state at the 1st singles position.
Week of April 7th
After several weeks of practice to open up the season, the Hornets finally started match play against local power LT. Despite some strong play, particularly at the singles positions behind Zeke Bisharat and Ansh Desai, the Hornets fell 0-7. This weekend the Hornets were a bit short staffed against Glenbard South, Timothy Christian, and Lemont in a home quad, but managed to steal a win away from Timothy Christian, going 1-2 on the day. Zeke Bishrat went 3-0 at the first singles position, and Ivan Atanassov and Crue Robards captured their first varsity win of the season. Up next, conference rival DGS!
