1977 State Quarterfinal Girls Basketball Team *Overall Record 20-2 Only loss in the regular season came against Joliet West, 59-44, before qualifying in the first IHSA state tournament for girls basketball played at Horton Fieldhouse in Normal. The Hornets beat Niles West 50-39 to win the Addison Trail Supersectional. Three players went on to play college basketball. Co-captains were Karen Kvackay and Debbie Lueken.
