Week of January 13th On January 17th & 18th,Varsity Hornets were able to get back to back wins over Proviso East and DeLaSalle
Week of December 2nd
Varsity Friday night the Hornets hosted Morton in their first home meet. Freshman won with some excellent matches, while JV and Varsity also had great matches but ultimately still fall short against Morton.
Saturday morning we once again the hosted Matozzi Invite. Had over 12 schools and welcoming a new school this year traveling from central IL, to participate.
Great day by all, coming in 9th as a team. Glen Hogan taking 1st, Derrick Singleton, 2nd and Sal Narvilas coming in 5th.
JV Saturday the JV Wrestling Hornets came in last place at the Willowbrook Invite. Even though the odds were against them, the team wrestled valiantly. Luke Casey qualified for third place but unfortunately lost giving him fourth place. Julian Miranda and Ace Stallings fought against each other for fifth place where Julian came out victorious. Peter Gabriel fought a great match avoiding getting pinned several times but fell to the score of 7-3.
