What a season!! Hornet Men’s Water Polo finished up the season with a record of 22-8 after the Sectional Tournament at Metea Valley this week. On Wednesday the Hornets defeated Lockport 8-6in a well-played, physical match. That win pushed us through to the Semifinals, where we would be defeated by Naperville Central 19-4. The Redhawks went on to win the Sectional and will compete for the State title starting next week. It was a tough loss, but we came home with a great takeaway: the referees informed us after the game that we might very well be the first team all season to be winning a game against NC (we scored first, and the game was 1-0 for a little bit in the first quarter).
