JV The Hornets got off to a great start in conference play this week, defeating Addison Trail 166–169 in their first conference meet of the season. Collin Bills and Jaiden Shah led the way with impressive rounds of 40, helping the team secure the victory.
Week of August 17th
Varsity On Tuesday, 8/18 the team played Hinsdale Central at Carriage Greens golf course. Kaelen Tanaka was medalist with a score of 38. Other scores that counted were Will Steckel 42, Armaan Tvelil 42 and Jashi Tvelil 42.
On Wednesday, the team took on DGN. Medalist was Armaan Tvelil 42. Other scores that counted, Kaelen Tanaka 44, Jashi Tvelil 45 and Sahil Patel 46.
At the end of a very difficult week, the Hornets traveled to LaGrange to play LT at LGCC. Medalist was Kaelen Tanaka with a 40. Other scores that counted were Armaan Tvelil 43, Sahil Patel 45 and Andrew O'Rouke 46.
JV
On Tuesday, 8/18 the team played Hinsdale Central at Carriage Greens golf course. Eshaan Jangda led the group with an impressive 47. Other scores that counted towards the team were Armaan Setia with a 52, Collin Bills with a 50, and Jaiden Shah with a 54.
On Wednesday, the team took on DGN. Armaan Setia stayed consistent with a 51 which led the Hornets while Eshaan Jangda was right behind him with a 54.
At the end of a very difficult week, the Hornets traveled Flagg Creek to challenge Lyons Township. Jaided Shah shot the hot round at 46. Other notable finishes were Beckett Kuntz shooting a 48 and Jack Davy with a 55.
On Saturday the Hornets competed in the LT Quad at Blackberry Oaks, where Collin Bills continued his strong play with an impressive 87, earning 11th place individually in a competitive field.
Week of August 10th
The Hinsdale South boys Varsity performed well at the inaugural JCA invitational. The Hornets finished 4th out of 11 teams. Will Steckel shot 75 and finished 4th individually and Sahil Patel shot 76 and finished 6th. Other scores that counted were Armaan Tvelil 79, Kaelen Tanaka 84.
